The Brief
Lucy approached Design Hero to design a new branding for holiday rental property that would reflect the stunning seaside location of this unique holiday rental property on Islay, and build a new website that would not only encourage online bookings through the website but would also save admin time and let Lucy get back to building her business!
This isn’t our first rodeo:
Design Hero has worked on Islay before for another holiday rental booking website for Leodamais. We also created another brand for holiday rental business on Islay so we knew this would need a different approach, with a fresh approach and distinct brand design to help Lucy carve out her own niche on Islay.
At Design Hero our designers eagerly got to work designing a new brand for the holiday rental business, while our web developers started on designing one of the best online booking website in the UK, never mind just Islay!

Lucy asked Design Hero to come up with a brand design that would reflect the stunning seaside location of the holiday accommodation and also tie in with the “new England” style decor of the property.

The new brand “Islay Seashore” is built around the iconic Carraig Fhadda lighthouse nearby; the holiday rental property commands ideal panoramic views of the bay and the nearby lighthouse.

The new logo design for the holiday house is a simple but iconic “stamp” style logo, using a palette of soft blues and seashore imagery to transport the user to the unique setting on Islay.
