Disc golf is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.
And did you know Glasgow is rapidly becoming a disc golf capital?
The Glasgow Disc Golf Club wanted to improve the offering to local disc golf players, with 5 new courses around Glasgow’s best-known parks.
When my old uni pal Paddy got in touch to say he was leading the charge, and asked me if I’d like to design custom course maps for the GDGC, I couldn’t resist…

I was asked to design a series of maps outlining the course for each Disc Golf location in a number of parks throughout and around Glasgow.
The route maps for each Disc Golf course were hand-drawn based on aerial photography of each park, and carefully illustrated to highlight routes, paths, buildings, obstructions and rough patches in order to fully communicate each route in detail.
