Refresh a personal brand for celebrityΒ Emma Gray Shepherdess to capture the spirit of her dog training, media appearances and life on Ardros Farm.
Emma Gray hit the headlines after becoming the youngest shepherdess in the UK, taking sole tenancy of the 100-acre Fallowlees Farm in Northumberland.
Now a decade later she and her husband Ewan are managing a much bigger farming enterprise, together they run 600 crossbred sheep and a herd of native cattle β as well as breeding top quality sheepdogs. As well as sheepdog training, sales for livestock and working dogs, Emma also penned a number of successful books for sale on Amazon.
Emma Gray recently moved from Fallowlees in Northumberland to Ardros Farm in Argyll & Bute with our sheep, cows and dogs. With new move Emma’s brand no longer encompassed her expanding business and celebrity personal brand. Emma Gray approached Design Hero to refresh her brand and come up with a new profile website to capture the spirit of her dog training, media appearances and life on Ardros Farm.
This project was a tricky one to define for Design Hero, because Emma Gray as a celebrity has many aspects and interests to her personal brand. There were several objectives that become clear for the new brand for Ardros Farm:

The new logo embodies the Collie working dog, with a tribal style to bring out the raw strength, lean
endurance and fierce hunting spirit that makes this breed so well suited to herding
we created an inverted design of the logo for use on dark backgrounds to retain the instantly recognisable
black and white Collie markings.

He also put up with a great many changes of direction and a lack of any technical ability at my end. feel that he has the right knowledge to take a business to the next level and am very pleased to have found him and his expertise.
