The Brief
William Hunter is no stranger to starting a new business:
William previously ran a successful garden centre before, but his latest business was a change in direction.
Calder Mains Gas & Heating Services offers a range of gas related services for customers across Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and Ayrshire.
He asked Design Hero to design a brand and logo for his new business, as well as help with branded stationery, business cards and custom printed livery for his business van.
Here’s what I came up with…

A new brand identity and vehicle wrap for a gas engineer in Inverclyde
William asked me to design some kind of flame-based character to represent his business. I quickly came up with this cute little guy, with a purple flame to represent William’s gas services.
The logo design was a big hit on social media ad I developed the sketch into a vectorized logo for William’s new branded van livery.

The character logo uses a circular grid with a range of teal and purple colours to represent William’s Gas services in Inverclyde

As part of William’s branding package I also helped design branded stationery including business cards, branded stickers, and a full vehicle wrap.

Design Hero also helped with new business cards on a high-quality matt finish, with spot UV finishing for the logo to give the icons and logo a standout gloss “glow” effect.

I also designed branded stickers for William to fit to boilers he’s serviced.
🖼️ A5 Flyer Design
We designed and printed these A5 flyers for William to distribute locally to promote his Powerflushing services.
