An E-Commerce website in Loch Lomond for art vendors to sell art online

The Brief
As an extension to Hollybank House, The team asked me to design and build an E-Commerce site that would act as a platform for local artists.
The house already features art for sale from local artists including award-winning Scottish artists such as Emma Davis.
Her vibrant and distinctive paintings of Scottish landscapes are highly personal and thought-provoking.
Emma is just one of many artists who sell their paintings through Hollybank Art.
The Hollybank Team asked Design Hero to help with a new website to champion the arts and sells art from local artists online.

Art Galleries web development
Hollybank Art was initally proposed as a simple E-Commerce website with a few simple products. The project quickly grew to incorporate multiple artists, selling a variety of products, including prints, orginal art pieces and gift cards. It also manages the following custom functionality:
- Vendor profiles
- Vendor Commission
- Postage and Packaging costs
- Discounts
- Gift Voucher
- Newsletter signups
The site has held on to it’s simple beginnings with minimalist design which allows beauty of the art to breathe.
Landing Page
The landing page directs the user quickly to the shop categories available.
Single Product Pages
I designed the single product pages to emphasize the art. Minimalist design allows each art piece to really stand out.
Artist Profiles
Each artist is given their own profile page, with a list of their products.
Contact
The contact page for this E-Commerce website allows users to get in touch with the Hollybank Art Team.
Vendor Dashboard
The beauty of this E-commerce website is that each vendor can sign in and manage their own profile and products. This reduces the amount of work for the store manager.
Product Dashboard
The store manager can manage all products and vendors from the dashboard. They can also set prices, discounts and levels of commission for each vendor.
