The Brief
After another lockdown it’s safe to say at the time of writing the Scottish tourism industry it’s on its arse. But that hasn’t deterred Susan and Ken Chung, who are laying the groundwork for their holiday home, Rossmay House in Arrochar, Loch Lomond. Rossmay House is looking ahead in preparation for staycations and a reopening of the travel industry in Scotland by investing in digital marketing and a new website for the holiday home in Arrochar, Loch Lomond.

Holiday Cottages web development
Susan and Ken got in touch with Design hero and asked me to design an affordable online booking website for their holiday cottage in Arrochar, Loch Lomond. Given the state of the tourism industry, Susan and Ken were on a tight budget for obvious reasons, so the new booking website in Arrochar had to be minimalist in design, making use of their strong photography to paint a picture of this fantastic holiday home and it’s unique setting in Arrochar.

It was important to the client to highlight the ideal location of Rossmay House, so we created a page on the new holiday home website to feature the many local activities.
Activities
Each activity was given it’s own section on the new website, with travel distances and descriptions for each location. We used the holiday home logo as a motif to add visual interest throughout the site.
Online Booking
The main goal of the new booking website in Loch Lomond was to gather booking enquiries. The website has an online booking form to do just that.
