The Brief
The Badass Rules is a tribe of like-minded women, who want to get fit, be happy and create their very own version of their most badass selves.
Design Hero was asked to design a WordPress blog website to host “The Badass Rules”:
A fitness blog for women which focuses on a badass mindset.

Following The Badass Rules explosive growth, the original branding no longer reflected the value that Badass Rules offered.
Julie asked me to refresh the brand, to futureproof against future expansion.

The new website was to reflect the unique visual style of the existing blog:
bold and confident and badass!
As well as a visual overhaul, the new website was to host a range of new functionality required for the rapidly expanding blog.
I built on the popular blogging platform WordPress, as well as a range of graphics and visual elements for the new site in one package.
Class Calendars
I developed a bespoke calendar and timetable functionality for the site to deliver extra value to Julie’s clients.

The contact page was designed to encourage new sign-ups promote the badass principals of the Badass Rules.

Fitness Coaching digital marketing
As the Badass Rules continued to grow, Julie had need of various promotional graphics, and printed marketing materials.
I designed a range of graphics and visual elements for the Badass brand including branded attire, shop signage, stickers and merchandise.
These helped her Badass members feel part of the community!

It was a landmark moment for The Badass Rules when they moved into their new gym.
Design Hero designed signage for the new shop to help her stand out on the street!

I designed custom printed hoodies for the Badass Rules.
Members and Coaches had alternating designs, so that every member felt a part of the tribe.

The design on the back stayed true to the badass roots of the brand with a cheeky arrow pointing to the member’s ass.
